Glass
I love Yeezys its always been a dream to have a pair because they're so rare and valuable they're so coveted and hard to find. Just recently i got a pair and i earned the money to buy them myself and that's a lot of cash to drop on shoes. It shows through hard work you can succeed many goals like the Yeezy it represents success for me.
I used white and black color pencils to create the glass look of the piece and the other colors to give a space and galaxy look, on black drawing paper it stands out highly thanks to my choice of coloring.
Clay
I love ducks and other waterfowl theyre just one of my favorite animals so why not make a duck call and also test my ability to craft from what i have.
I used the slab method to create a coil and to create the reed part of the call and patterns to give it detail.
Arts Alive
Tom Brady is my favorite football player being what he was a draft pick at #199 he was never supposed to start. Although he did he proved those people whom doubted him wrong. It's meant to motivate others to be the greatness he is and set goals like he did which you break.
I used Google images to find an image of the players i drew, sketched them out in the paper and added detail to it with drawing pencils. Shading and adding value until the piece was realistic enough. Added some of Tom Brady's quotes to provide insight to his thoughts.
Oil Pastels
I've always loved football not so much a Carolina Panthers fan, but I've always liked Luke Kuechly, and i know hes the one player that can be every player.
I sketched out a design on paper and used oil pastels to create the image first by layering then by blending it together to make it look realistic.
Styles
I have a fascination with indians in head-dresses, thanks to the 1700's native americans lost their land. They carried spiritual meetings to learn the land and be in tune with it. Its like a tribute to indians and its a meaning of understanding yourself and your surroundings and being one with nature and being calm and collected inside.
Using a big brush i painted the background with mixes of yellows reds purples and blues i created a sky. Using black i created trees and a native american showing brush strokes in the painting. I went over the background several times to create a contrast of colors. Using a smaller brush to get smaller details into the piece.
Pen and Ink Watercolor
I enjoy ducks they fascinate me, I always like the vision of hunting scenes and the color orange background ties it together being its the hunting safety color.
I colored the background orange with watercolor paint, then using pen and ink i created duck feather textures and water textures.
